En esencia, el nuevo Plan de Estudios del Instituto
Politécnico Nacional pretende la tecnificación de la educación superior. En palabras de la Directora General del IPN, la modificación del plan responde
a la necesidad de solventar las necesidades “socio-productivas” del país. Es decir, que pretende crear mano de obra, no profesionistas.
El país necesita mentes, no mano de obra.
El país necesita dejar de leer libros con “monitos” y
empezar con libros de “puras letras”.
El país necesita dejar de ser uno de vendedores ambulantes.
El país necesita educación media superior y superior de
calidad, no más tecnificación.
El IPN es fuente de líderes, no de obreros.
Habría que cambiar nuestro lema: La técnica al servicio de la Patria. debería ser LA CIENCIA AL RESCATE DE LA PATRIA
Nuestra mascota es el burro blanco: SOMOS BURROS, NO
PENDEJOS!
In essence,
the new curriculum of the National Polytechnic Institute seeks the
modernization of higher education. In the words of the IPN´s General
Director, the modified plan responds to the need to address the
"socio-productive" needs of the country. That means more workforce and less professionalism.
The country
needs minds, not cheap labor.
The country
needs to stop reading books with "drawings" and start with books of
"pure points".
The country
needs to stop being one of hawkers.
The country
needs and higher education superior quality, no more modernization.
The IPN is
a source of leaders, not workers.
We should change our motto: Technology to serve the Fatherland. It should be: SCIENCE TO RESCUE THE FATHERLAND
Our mascot
is the white donkey: WE ARE DONKEYS, NOT ASSHOLES!
By modernization I mean technification. To take a four or five year career to end being just a technician, not a Professional. That´s what Mexican Education Ministry pretends: more technicians, less professionals; more malleable workers, less thinking educated.
